About Karuna

Karuna began her interest in health over 25 years ago and completed her acupuncture qualification in 1997 when she joined NZRA . Since this time her clinic has centred around treating the full range of health conditions that may present in general practice, with womens' health of special interest. She and her husband founded the NZ School of Acupuncture & TCM and remain committed to acupuncture teaching and excellence.

Whether it is fertility care, pregnancy related gynaecology, gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal she will tailor treatments to suit your individual pattern. TCM relies on good diagnosis and piecing together a picture of “you” from presenting symptoms. This in turn gives direction to the “right” treatment plan to bring back balance, health and vitality.
